The 738 bus connects Pine Harbour ferry terminal to Beachlands and Maraetai Beach, timed to meet ferry arrivals and departures. The journey from Pine Harbour to Maraetai takes about 21 minutes.

Tips for this route
- Free park-and-ride available at Pine Harbour Marina. Spaces fill quickly on weekday mornings, so arrive before 7am.
- Friday night late services extend the timetable significantly. Check the Friday-only departures marked in orange.
- Weekend services are much less frequent than weekdays (roughly every 2 hours vs every 20 min at peak). Plan ahead.
- Saturday has additional late-night sailings not available on Sundays.
- The 738 bus connects to Beachlands and Maraetai Beach. The older 739 bus route to Botany also runs from the terminal.
