Tip: The heritage Ferry Building (1912) has shops and cafés on the lower level. The actual departure piers are in the modern terminal building to the east. Check digital screens for pier numbers. They can change.

Important: There is no ticket machine at Te Onewa Northcote Point. You must use an AT HOP card, contactless payment, or buy a paper ticket at the Downtown Ferry Terminal before your return journey. This is a mid-route stop on the Birkenhead ferry.

Tip: Oneroa Village is a 20-minute walk from Matiatia, but most people catch the bus. AT Waiheke buses use AT HOP cards and depart timed to ferry arrivals. Off-island tickets can only be purchased at the Matiatia kiosk or ticket office.

Note: West Harbour ferry (Belaire Ferries) runs weekdays only, excluding public holidays. The marina has a café and restaurant. The West Harbour Circuit coastal walk starts nearby.
